Nick Thorson (Nicolas Cage, in negotiation) lives under the radar, tuning pianos across the city – methodical, isolated, and hiding his violent past as a former contract killer. When a job takes him to a youth center, he bonds with the head teacher, Ava, a fierce advocate for at-risk kids, and Lulu, a gifted young pianist desperate to escape an abusive home. As Nick reconnects to life through music and an unexpected romance with Ava, the deadly world he left behind comes hunting. A ruthless enemy resurfaces, determined to settle an old score.
