In a desolate world ravaged by societal collapse, Kate (Daniella Pineda) has turned her home - once a shared haven with her husband Charlie - into a fortress, fortified with intricate booby traps to ward off unseen threats. Her solitude is disrupted when her neighbor Joseph (Mel Gibson) brings news of a thriving community across the Canadian border. Before Kate can decide to leave, Rook (Ruby Rose) and her ruthless team of raiders violently breach her defenses, hellbent on stealing her food and medical supplies.
