Los Angeles, present day. After witnessing what he believes to be extraterrestrial flashes of light splitting the darkness in the sky above him, Sean Bruner (Ross Marquand) begins experiencing supernatural events. His pregnant wife Andrea (Sarah Bolger) needs his support, but Sean’s life starts to spiral into a surreal nightmare. Unsettling shards of memories and visions convince Sean he’s been abducted by aliens. But as he attempts to protect his family from an unseen threat, he ends up becoming just a shadow of himself. The line between reality and horror blurs as Andrea’s pregnancy runs into complications and Sean unravels. Will he become the father his family needs or will they come back and take him again… if they even did at all?
